Top-Notch for Sport

Countless ski lifts, hundreds of pistes, and slope after slope: mountains of fun are guaranteed. Sölden is a mecca for winter sports fans. And in summer there are just as many sporting highlights on offer. But best of all is the location of our apartments. You can throw on your sports gear while still at home, because you only have to walk 150 meters from the front door to the bus – a distance that can easily be covered even in ski boots.

Racing cyclists, mountain bikers, climbers, hikers, and those who simply want to wander from one mountain-hut restaurant to the next, will also love the location of our apartments. They’re a great starting point for exploring beautiful paths, mountain passes, and trails, as well as for reaching climbing parks and a well-deserved tankard of beer with views across the valley.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Ötztal is practically synonymous with winter-sports vacations. The ski area has 144 kilometers of fantastic pistes to melt the heart of every boarder and skier.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Freeriding is redefined in Sölden: on two glaciers, three 3000-meter peaks, and seemingly endless runs, every skier and snowboarder will experience a feeling of pure freedom – whether a beginner or a World Cup professional, on or off-piste. Adrenalin rush included.

Cross-country Skiing

Those who like to take things a little slower will enjoy cross-country skiing in Sölden. Skate and classic cross-country skiers can test their stamina or simply enjoy the Alpine landscape – on over 140 km of cross-country ski trails through a winter wonderland, including the wide valley basin near Längenfeld.

And hiking. You can perfectly combine the two in the Ötztal. Enjoy roughly 50 km of extensive hiking trails through glittering forests and across wide, white meadows – and never far away from the Ötztaler Ache river. Perfect for the whole family.

Summer Sports

Even before the last of the snow has disappeared, Sölden is already swarming with racing cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, and climbers. And rightly so.

Themed hiking trails, mountain tours or alpine climbs: there’s something for every hiker, from gentle to ambitious, all around Sölden. But the most important part is the same for everyone: the fantastic view of crystal-clear mountain lakes, snow-capped peaks, and deep valleys.

Mountain Biking

Never before has gravity been so attractive: Sölden and the Ötztal valley are well on the way to becoming one of the best mountain-bike regions in the Alps – thanks to pump tracks, nature and North Shore trails, adrenaline-fuelled jumps, and touring fun. Long live the Bike Republic!
